Lil’ Joe and the Gang is a hand-drawn adventure comic book that children can color to match their imagination and view of the world. Joe goes from his family’s farm in central Texas to the African Congo, to the ocean’s depths to hunt treasure, then the F1 Formula Race Trace, and into the far reaches of space via his imagination taking his sisters along on his adventures. Between each page of illustrations is a “”Creative page”” for your child to trace the Page below it or to help prevent watercolors and markers from bleeding through from one illustration to the next page behind it. Inside the front pages and on the back cover of the book you will find a QR code that you can use to tag the author’s Instagram page when you post your child’s creative work. This book is dedicated to my father and mother and “”The younger Five”” children of my 8 siblings. They are Kathryn, Joe, the twins Rachel and Rebekah, and Lisa, This book was made from stories told to me by my mother when I would call home. I drew, printed, and mailed a new page each week for them to read and enjoy while they were still children starting in 2005, and closed the story in 2006.
