Side by Side: Which Do You Like?

Based on PBS KIDS’ extensive research into how children learn, Side by Side is designed to help preschoolers develop the critical “”4C”” skills: Collaboration, Communication, Creativity, and Critical tThinking. Side by Side: Which Do You Like is an oversized board book, designed to be held between two little laps–in order to get preschoolers working and talking together in school, at home, on a playdate. Each spread features four choices (i.e. “”It’s time for lunch! Do you want pizza, pancakes, pasta, or a sandwich?””) Each child makes a choice, lifts his or her flap, and is then faced with 4 more choices. (Do you like pizza plain with cheese? pepperoni? peppers? or with lollipops?) They discuss, choose again, laugh at the silly option–and are encouraged to suggest more choices.
