Performative Nightmares

This is the culmination of three months of refusing to play videogames. The inspiration is that I hate my unshaven face. There is nothing in this book that I expect anyone outside of the Pacific Northwest to enjoy. It’s a strangeness that facilitated this work. The kind that arrives from burying yourself in banned books. Out of time, sort of. It’s the length of my previous three books of poetry. The next book will be the same length as well. It’s affordable, right now. I always knew that I would be unsuccessful but I never imagined how easy it would be. This is better than that though.
