Something is hunting Vee. Vee’s life has changed since she revealed herself to Shane and his pack. When another pack leader comes to call on Shane and seems to know about her, Shane decides he has to claim her as his mate to protect her. She is hesitant at first, but then agrees, seeing no other way to get her life back to normal. Or at least, as close as she can get to normal.
