Over many years, during quiet moments of reflection, characters from Noosa’s past often drifted across a blank canvas in my mind. I gathered these images lovingly and threaded their stories on the cord of my memory to keep for all time. Their unique stories and personalities will now live on. I have made every attempt to contact the characters in this book to confirm the accuracy of detail and to gather their reflections of the ‘good old days’.
