DON’T BLAME THEM

This book is all about a group of guys who were friends. Their frindship was based on dinking alcohol and anonting women sexually. All of them believed that they were together for good and counted on one another. One day Chris insulted his mother and sister when they came to him paying him a visit finding him with a group of people. His mother and sister were trying to show him that it is wrong to sponsor people with alcohol and food while he had so many things which he lacked in his life. That didn’t go down well with him resulting in him insulting the two. That same day afte insullting them, he became over drunk, slept to the extent of his friend anointing his partner while in the same bed with him, Chris. While anointing his partner sexuallu next to him, as he was sweating, his partner wiped him on the face with the towel they used to wipe their private parts after finishing anointing. The friend impregnated his partner while he was busy fast asleep. Later on he believed that the kid was his.. It happened that one of the guys, Chris lose his employment, getting evicted from the house he was staying in, all of his friends abondened him. None of them was prepared to help him by giving him accommodation. Later on he died as a result of cold weather. The crew continued after Chris’ death. One of them continued not knowing that his crew and himself refused to help Chis while he was in dire need of their help. It happened that he himself got fired away from employment as well. His friend Kenny, gave him accommodation while he was still having package from his employment. After the package was finished, he evicted him from the house. He started suffering not knowing where to turn his eyes to. Eventually he fell in love with Dikeledi, th woman who used to be Chris’ girlfriend. He found himself asking for a wheelbarow to transpot his luggage from Kenny’s place to Dikeledi’s. He started hating the crew. Eventually he married Dikeledi. Both of them then went to church. As the two people who used to sponsor the group with alcohol were no longer her, the group was now so eager to get another sponsor. One guy, David came while in a trip from Maun, one of the tourists destination areas in Maun, Botswana, Africa. When he came, he berended Kenny finding him in a bar alone. He bought him a beer and told him that he wished to have friends in a city to socialise with them as he was new in th area. Later on Kenny’s crew members arrived and introduced him to David. They starte calling David ‘A man from Maun.’ When Davis heared city guys from Gaborone calling him hat, he got inspired that city guys were getting along with him. He started buying them a lot of alcohol. David was staying in his younger brother’s house. His younger brothr by then was away checking his mamababy. They drank alcohol until the bar closed. David bought more alcohol to go and drink while home. All crew members had girlfriends except David. While drinking while home, one of the women who was amongst the crew’s partners called her friend to come and be David’s partner. They went and fetched the woman. David failed to anont the woman sexually as he was over drunk. Eventually crew members fell asleep while in the sitting room. David was with his partner in his room. They woke up the folling day, Saturday, the woke up in the afternoon. David suggested that he buys a lot of alcohol aqnd they drink while home. All of them supported the idea. They drank again until falling asleep. Tshepo, David’s younger brother came finding strangers fast asleep in his house. Women’s skirts were lifeted up to their waists while men were damn fast asleep. When he got to David’s room, he found his brother’s partner naked, David fast asleep with a condom in his hand. He woke them up finding David broke. David later on conned his partner taking by taking tha money which was meant for the school fees of her daughter.
