‘ Colour ‘ is a modern poetry book about the struggle, hope, freedom, and wonder found in life. It poses questions to the reader to reflect upon and provides soul-satisfying answers from personal experience as this book takes the reader gently into a state of deep thought. Taylor Basas was inspired to write this book when her life was dramatically impacted by the power of Jesus back in 2017. She began writing her thoughts towards this newfound faith and love that fulfilled the very depths of her. As she processed her faith through words on paper and tears, ‘Colour’ was birthed. This title was special to the author as she considered how our lives before Jesus are dull; we see in black and white and don’t know the true colour of life. Taylor was born in Canberra, Australia, and is the eldest of three children. In her spare time, she enjoys baking, painting, and singing praises. She is now married to Amiel Basas, her greatest encourager and best friend.
