Book Five – Short Stories: My Complete Collection of SHORT STORIES

This is the fifth of six books which contain the complete collection of short stories by the late Polly Blim. Polly was not a writer, but she had a talent for coming up with story ideas that I believe the reader would find interesting. Her stories touch upon nearly every genre imaginable with more than a hint of LGBTQ+ relationships and entanglements. Some are darker than others in dealing with love, hate, jealousy, revenge, and forbidden love in a web of mystery cast before a backdrop that leans towards horror and dark erotica. These stories were possibly destined to remain on a dusty shelf or be hidden away and eventually destroyed, so I hope you find them worthy of my saving and publishing so that Polly Blim’s thoughts and imagination might be shared and hopefully appreciated. Judging them in the real world is difficult as a former friend, but I have found them entertaining, with many surprising twists beneath their dark undertow. Admittedly, some of the stories are as dark as they are erotic, which she had tried to tame, but the world sometimes is not a very nice place in which these darker stories reflect Polly’s feelings, which simply create a backdrop for stories which I think hold their own and hope that you enjoy? Polly’s fifth book in a series entitled ‘Broken Dreams’, with this selection of stories indicating her fondness for sci-fi, with one particular post-puppet series. My enclosed stories begin with a pilot being trained to command a secret mission to hopefully save the earth but is nearly killed in training, which was no accident . . . but via modern science, she is still eventually able to go but not as the mission’s Commander, accompanied by a sequel. Another story relates to a female squadron leader girlfriend whose has been abducted by the very aliens which their squadron battles against, only to find that her replacement is an old flame, whilst the next deals with a Queen who falls in love with a lonely female salvage worker, with the final story relating to a space drilling rig which crash lands upon a supposed desolate moon where a secret complex is discovered as a possible safe haven or a source of concern especially when crew members start to disappear? —- ISBN: 9798323229727
