Beyond Eternity

Olivia’s dreams seemed way too real and getting more frequent. This was the third one this week. She would find herself at the edge of a village, witnessing the slaughter of innocent villagers by mighty knights on war-horses. Unable to move, locked in the horror of the dream, she is discovered by one of the men who turned his horse towards her and charged. He was closing in and all she could do was close her eyes and wait. She stood there with her hands covering her face, waiting for the impaling of the lance, waiting to feel the pain, waiting to meet her death. There was a two-year waiting list to get into his class, but Olivia had managed to get accepted her first semester which was unheard of. It made her feel grateful, but it also caused her to get the evil green-eyed monster looks from every female in the school. And, when the Professor called her by her first name with such a familiar, sensual tone, it caused more than a small stir of jealousy. But, what did they have to be jealous about?
