Description
Olivia’s dreams seemed way too real and getting more frequent. This was the third one this week. She would find herself at the edge of a village, witnessing the slaughter of innocent villagers by mighty knights on war-horses. Unable to move, locked in the horror of the dream, she is discovered by one of the men who turned his horse towards her and charged. He was closing in and all she could do was close her eyes and wait. She stood there with her hands covering her face, waiting for the impaling of the lance, waiting to feel the pain, waiting to meet her death. Then suddenly someone grabbed hold of her, lifted her up onto a horse and just as she turned to see who her rescuer was…she would wake up…. every single time! Olivia blamed the reoccurring dream on her handsome history professor, Professor Brickendon. Professor Blane Brickendon was tall, well over six feet, with broad, massive shoulders. He appeared to have stepped right out of the pages of the history books. He had the look of nobility, which he talked about with rare familiarity and was another reason for his popularity. The way he talked about history brought it to life and everyone was enchanted by his description of places and events. So, Olivia blamed her dreams on the Professor for being so explicit in his narratives. Olivia would rather be dreaming of the Professor himself instead of the battles he described, but so would every other female at the University. There was a two-year waiting list to get into his class, but Olivia had managed to get accepted her first semester which was unheard of. It made her feel grateful, but it also caused her to get the evil green-eyed monster looks from every female in the school. And, when the Professor called her by her first name with such a familiar, sensual tone, it caused more than a small stir of jealousy. But, what did they have to be jealous about? She hadn’t even worked up the nerve to talk to him, unlike the rest of the female population on campus. But the way he said her name caused a familiar stirring in her soul, and she was determined to discover why. Little did Olivia know that her world as she knew it was about to take an unimaginable twist that would seal her fate forever. —- ISBN: 9798866007028
