Shortly after the cancer diagnosis, I asked a good friend of mine, who had lost her husband to cancer, how to do all of this. She told me to try and live life as normal as possible. This was a huge challenge for us but I see the wisdom. We had always lived life by working hard. We also enjoyed adventures, fun, loving deeply, and striving for continual learning and growth.
