Christmas is a time for family, but Ainsley Bouvier would rather avoid hers. Ainsley feels right at home in her career as a fashion designer. Her success has afforded her a dream house overlooking Seattle’s Lake Washington, although she’s usually too busy working to enjoy it. She’d love nothing more than to spend Christmas there, sitting around in her jammies, watching Christmas movies. If only her parents, who expect her to visit them for Christmas, weren’t so critical of her career, she’d be more enthusiastic about spending the holiday with them. When his break is delayed due to a scheduling issue with a photo shoot, he’s persuaded to allow the cast of his show to do the shoot at his vacation retreat. While he’s hesitant to invite his coworkers into his private world, there’s something about the lovely fashion designer who’s providing the wardrobe that makes him rethink his loner lifestyle.
